since the launch of the PSP Go, new games will no longer come as a UMD format, right?

I dont think so
But why do these thingies rotate?

Am I the only one that thinks the new girl (Rio?) looks completely out of place? Her art style looks a little different and she doesn't really look like she belongs with the rest of the DOA girls. It almost looks like they just took the head off of some random illusion game and slapped it onto a DOA body.

I totally agree with you, it must be because Itagaki left. Now they're just pumping these games out as wank material. Speaking of which, it was pretty funny to hear "sekushi girls" over and over in the advert. They really got to the point! tongue.gif

It does look like they're trying to milk it. I'd prefer they just spent the time making a new game for 360 or even PS3. But then, they don't have to put too much effort into this version.

Japan population stat I Googled: males aged 15-64 years: 43,027,320

Approx 65% of population plays video games, so that would be: 27,967,758

It's not every guy who plays DOAX games, so let's pick a low number like 1 in every 10. That would now be 2,796,775 dudes in Japan that might buy DOAX games....

2.7 million.

Now multiply that buy the price of the game.... Wow. That's some decent money there.

Offhand, I'd say it's totally worth their time to make and sell those crappy DOAX games. Which means, they'll keep making more of them.
time loop. Oh no! I'm caught in a

There is a Demo out for this, has anyone tried it? I can't get it to run on my PSP (yet), but I'll post some impressions if I get it working.

Edit: Got it working, but it likes to crash dry.gif .

Really nice looking game when you consider the hardware. Looks like they used DOAX models but the animation looks a little better, not as stiff as DOAX. The demo lets you use Hitomi in a couple of gravure scenes (tree, bike, dancing) and I guess you can take pictures but I can't read Japanese so I'm not sure. Really weird demo even when you consider what game it is.

More than anything this makes me want a real DOA fighting game on PSP, or even Ninja Gaiden.

Demo is crap and lasts 10 seconds total. The game looks like it could have been done on an N64 with the 4 MB expansion.

The magic box has posted some ingame volleyball shots of the game and considering the limits of the psp I dont think they look too bad.

well, models looks nice, game is boring, but there is already cheat for "all clothes remove" and with it and little bogy re-texturing game will look just like Sexy Beach 3.

edit:
