(UPDATE) May 18, 2010

As "promised" here is the link : P

http://www.vgmusic.com/new-files/Promise-R.mid (you'll get a 403 for remote linking, just click the word "here" on the first reason)

It's a little strange depending on your midi playback. I tried my best with the pads but hey . .
It's a midi.

(UPDATE) March 22, 2010

Dood!!! djpretz himself emailed me today about mirroring my work on ocremix.org
Speak o da D. biggrin.gif

-from my inbox this morning- (March 22, 2010)

Greetings -

This is djpretzel (David Lloyd) from www.ocremix.org. At some point in the future we'd be interested in mirroring some or all of your VGM MIDI files currently on vgmusic.com on www.ocremix.org as well. We'd credit you directly and link to vgmusic.com on the same page, we just want our visitors to have easy access to the MIDI files you've created.

If you're okay with this, and also okay with the terms of our content policy (http://www.ocremix.org/info/Content_Policy), could you let me know? The files might not show up for awhile, but we're working on adding this feature and wanted to get each artist's individual permission ahead of time.

Thanks,
--

I'm sure all of you never knew this but, I used to be
a well known sequencer on vgmusic.com about 4 years ago. biggrin.gif

What got me to reveal this? Well, I wasn't always that great at it - and of course
it's just vgmusic that's been translated to midi - nothing of my own design.

I've been studying midi for about 5 years on and off and after
seeing GT's video about ninjawork I got to thinking - "I wanna make a nice contribution
since I haven't in awhile". smile.gif

time to play NAME THAT TUNE!! biggrin.gif

I don't recognize the tune. But it carries the feel of MegaMan music...and most game music of that era.

Really nice track. What app did you use to create it?

Shucks, I have a fan. laugh.gif

Yeah Like I said, I Used Cakewalk (Pro Audio 8).
I used to study and sequence a LOT with that proggy but,
I stopped after I realized I was really going nowhere without
propper study in theory. I can't even read music and I don't know
key signatures (time yes) but I have darn good pitch in my ears.

Also I had the software back before I really knew what piracy was.
Once I realized that a friend of mine didn't just "give" me the program
back in highschool, had to give it up.

I've got a legit copy of Pro Tools 4 for Mac though. Anyone Wanna trade? laugh.gif
I hate Macs. : P

meh -

I'm bored and I wanna show my pride and joy off yet again biggrin.gif

http://www.filexoom.com/showfile-18474/_2.mid

no peeking at the Track Name Analysis!!! (I hate the cheesy coments I used to make in them anyway)
I might have to dl noteworthy to delete them. blech.

Sounds like it's from a Kirby game.?

Did you ever try to make an arrangement like on VGMix OR OCRemix?

No Sir. That was out my possibilities. Call me a Nintendo fanboy... I played from NES to N64 every console, but also some Sega and PS1, PS2, PS3 games. No XBOX at all. First computer ran Win95. That's all.

So... my bad...
