A few days ago I found out about this contest to win Poser 2010. The rules are simple.
Make a video of yourself saying "I'm A Poser" in your own way. There will be 25 winners.
Winners are picked based on having the highest ratings and most view counts. I uploaded
mine last Friday and just today (Monday) it was added to the playlist. I need to catch
up so please pass this link around and help me score the bigs. I promise I will use
Poser to do some sweet stuff in the future.

Only one day left to catch up, so...

Your entry is one of the best. And probably the one, which took the most amount of time to realize.
So you deserve a copy smile.gif

Thanks. I think I could really use this software for the next Little Ninja Project animation. My characters are already Poser ready. I know how to use it enough to make people do what I want. This could be the first day to being an official Poser Pro.

I do all my own stunts. I used to be more agile. Now it's a lot more painful. ...but yes. I'm an retired ninja so it's expected.

Sweet. Its installed on the Mac laptop. It definitely looks pretty. Tonight I'll get a chance to see if it actually functions better too.
I thought I read the code was re-written so it runs more efficiently. I could be wrong.

Yes that's me in the back. The thing that sucks is I used to be able to do all kinds of things, but by the time I was doing goofy videos with friends, I was already getting out of shape. It was super hard to land a lot of that crap. So, if that video was a few years earlier...

These are embarrassing, but they're on YouTube so might as well watch:

And this is the classic Spear Guy video:

There were a few fight videos I directed using people who can't fight but I think they are gone forever.
The closest thing to it since then was the Rockstar Energy Drink video we did at work:

I really love doing these and it's a shame I haven't ever gotten around to making more.
So many ideas just die off and never see the light. I would love to do a whole series. And
only using people who cannot fight in real life.

So far I've got to say that Poser Pro 2010 is the least glitchy of all the Posers I've used. I haven't had any crashes yet on either Windows XP (32-bit...which I finally got working after a clean reinstall of Windows), MacBook Pro (10.5.8), Vista Home (64-bit), and Windows 7 (64-bit). This could be very good news for Poser users I think. And the interface (not sure if Poser 8 had these features too). You can detach the different panels. This is awesome for dual monitor setups so you can keep all that crap out of the way. Thus, you get a bigger scene view. And I think, it renders faster, but I'm not sure.

Anyway...
